    Area of origin: Valais vineyards

Appearance, taste/flavour: more than 50 grape varieties are cultivated in the Valais. Some wines, like the Fendant, the Petite Arvine, the Amigne, the Cornalin or the Humagne cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Valais wines offer a richness and complexity of flavours that are unique. They are regularly awarded medals in international competitions.

Production: Nearly all of the Valais vineyards are cultivated in accordance with regulations  that are respectful of the environment and the health of the winemakers. The output is limited and harvesting is nearly always done by hand.

To enjoy: during the aperitif, during and after a meal. It is sold in bottles, however it can also be drunk by the glass in most restaurants.

    Seasonality: year round

Conditions and length of preservation: in a cool place, away from the light. Valais wines can be stored from one year to several decades.
