Site: Alpine pasture chalet built in 1947 and converted into a mountain restaurant in 1999. Above Veysonnaz, in the heart of the Alps and the skiing region of the Quatre-Vallées, the restaurant and the terrace offer a breathtaking panorama. Summer: starting point for numerous mountain hikes. Winter: gourmet stop for skiers.

Valaisian cuisine: Various cold dishes. Raclette and goat cheese croûtes. Potée des mayens (meat and vegetables cooked for 4 hours in an earthenware pot). On request: raclette with three cheeses. Seasonal desserts. Summer: large, mixed salads. Autumn: brisolée (a dish of roast chestnuts, cold meats, cheese and fruit). Selection of Valaisian wines.

Open: 7/7 from Christmas until Easter. Closed on Tuesdays in July and August. Out of season, please check the website for opening hours. Access: 12 kms from the motorway exit Sion-Ouest, follow Nendaz up to Salins or Beuson, turn left towards Veysonnaz.
