Spécialités: Valaisanne plate, Fondue

Site: charming family restaurant with panoramic view, in the middle of the vineyards on the road from Sierre to Montana (via Chermignon), with Valaisian vaulted cellar, wine bar, carnotzet and two terraces.

Valaisian cuisine: fondues and croûtes with Valaisian cheese. Hérens beef entrecôte steak on a slate platter (subject to availability). Valaisian salad with cheese, cured ham and dried meat. Wine grower’s sorbet. Regional wines: Johannisberg from Alain Rey (Corin), Gara-noir from Nicolas Briguet (Ollon). Abricotine AOC, Eau-de-vie de poire du Valais AOC, Calvalais (apricot, pear and apple brandies)from Maurice Solioz (St-Léonard) or Génépi (wormwood liqueur) du Château Ravire (Veyras).

Open: Tuesdays to Fridays, from 8 am until 11 pm, Saturdays from 10 am until 11 pm, Sundays from 10 am until 4 pm, closed on Mondays. Annual holidays: the beginning of January and the beginning of July (2x2 weeks). Access: motorway exit Sierre-Ouest, follow Montana for 2 kms.
