Spécialités: Valaisanne plate, Raclette

Site: an old converted farm-house offering dining facilities in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by animals and vegetable gardens. An oasis of tranquility at the foot of the Muverans. The only establishment with the designation “Saveurs du Valais” outside the Valais itself.

Valaisian cuisine: platters of Valaisian salaisons (salt-cured meat) from Chermignon. Cheese croûtes and quiches made with cheese from Bagnes or les Haudères. Raw milk raclette for groups (reservation necessary). Hérens beef (subject to availability). Valaisian fruit desserts. Apricot and pear brandy sorbets. Petite Arvine and Humagne by the glass.

Open 7/7 from 7 am until 10 pm, from October to May: closed on Thursdays. Dormitory accommodation for groups and holiday camps. Cross-country skiing in winter. Access: motorway exit Bex, follow Plans-sur Bex, take the turning for Les Plans. Altitude 1100 m. Post bus from Bex (10 kms).
