The restaurant

Chalet built in 1955, rebuilt as a hotel in 1965, renovated in 1972. Since 2012 managed by a young family from England/Belgium. Restaurant with bar, guest lounge with fireplace, 2 panorama terraces with wood-burning fireplace and winter ice bar. 14 rooms with 45 beds.

Valais gourmet food

Entrecôte d’Hérens. Chasselas or beer cheese fondue. Valais Raclette AOP. Cheese röstis. Valais and snack platter. Valais sorbets. Apricot tart in the summer.

Open : Daily 8 am to 11 pm. Closed : October/November and mid-April to mid-June. Getting there : From Brig towards Furka to Mörel, park at car park. Take cable car to car-free village of Riederalp-West. Berghaus Toni is opposite mountain station.
