Site: charming dining facilities in the old village bakery. A 16th century building at the entrance to the mediaeval town of Saillon. Small sheltered terrace.

Valaisian cuisine: gourmet menus with market produce. Hérens steak tartare(finely chopped raw beef). Hérens lasagne. Hot goat’s cheese from Grimisuat goats. Mushroom croûtes (subject to availability). Platter served on marble. Home-made bread. In season: asparagus from Saillon, Valaisian game. Desserts: Valaisian locally made ice-cream , grapes in Grappa de Gamaret wine, fruit tartlets. Wines from the region. Fruit juices from Saillon.

Open from Wednesdays at 5 pm until Sundays at 3 pm. Annual holidays from January 1st to 15th.. Access: motorway exit at either Leytron or Fully, follow Saillon to the crossroads of La Tour, then up to the old town (vieux bourg).
